our challenge: turn this into a fun and happy family office at a nice price. angela is a collector of fabulousness. along with coffee, lunch, a good camera, and mad skills...she brought these finds to use if they worked in the room...one of a kind pieces that make a house a home that has a very collected over time feel. she made the sweet owls herself and they were simply a gift for the client's two little girls. they are angela's signature thing. lucky little girls. and then she assembled this chair. i'm not even kidding... and she recommended we tell you this fancy designer trick. ready? step #1 buy ikea frames... step #2 fill them with maps, old sheet music, sweet cards, book pages, kids artwork, what have you... step #3 hang on the wall... we used this page too, in a smaller frame, perfect color, super affordable, not what your neighbor has... getting there... ta da... hydrangea's from the back yard, mason jars from angela's collection, pencils from a drawer, GREAT lamp that they already had, duck pillow from angela's collection and because the client is fond of all things ducky, one of a kind funky blue "book ends" hand painted by angela... all of these sweet details finish the room in a very affordable and unique way. we never want to give you page 42 from pottery barn (not that there's anything wrong with that). we always want to make your home feel like YOU and YOURS and NOT the jones's (psst...the jones's are not actually happy). we work hard to listen to YOUR hopes and dreams and help you live all up and in them. at a nice price. more before and afters soon.
