we almost lost everything.
we almost gave it all away.
we even met with a lawyer to draft papers that would seal our fate.
but that meeting didn't go as planned.
after hearing our story the lawyer said something like...
there are givers and there are takers in this world.
you are givers.
my job is to protect you from the takers.
they are takers.
do not give away what you have worked so hard to build.
so we parted ways with the takers.
but we could not stop them from taking our intellectual property.
and take it, they did.
the lawyer put terms and conditions and contracts in place to protect everything we have built.
this page used to be all long legalese.
everyone signed the contracts.
and then it happened again.
this time we had the right to take legal action, but we didn't.
we realized that takers are gonna take and we are not people who sue.
if you want what we have created so badly that you would take it, you can have it.
what's ours is yours.
we are going to spend our lives creating stuff so great, people want to take it and call it their own.
we are going to give even when it hurts because we believe in the end, you get what you give.
we are going to be a voice, not an echo.
what about you?
