by christina britt lewis photography by angela statzer everybody is busy. this is just a moment. this too shall pass. but you guys, college visits, TEDx Charlotte stage design, and book writing... in addition to redesigning 2 homes and meeting with 3-5 new clients per week... has me kind of FREAKING OUT! like HOW THE HELL AM I GOING TO DO ALL OF THIS AWESOMENESS freaking out. and THEN... tim tells me my in-laws are coming for a surprise visit tonight. my sister reminds me i'm hosting my mom's 70th birthday party on saturday. my sofa is being repaired. i have no sofa. george won't stop barking. there are 2 mountains of laundry, 1 clean, 1 stinking up the entire upstairs. and my fat jeans don't fit 'cause we are living on grilled cheese and takeout over here. that's the whole story. not pretty. so this is why... i have not responded to your email or voicemail yet. i will think murdery thoughts if you say to me, it must be so much fun to shop for a living. i cannot think of anything to write about this redesign...             the only way i could ever pull any of this off is with the help, patience, support, encouragement, and love of my people... tim has 2 careers and still makes time to dream my dreams for me until my dreams are real. cole keeps this home running and keeps us all laughing. i found camden sewing a hole in his shorts the other day, the boy gets stuff done. my mom says perfect things at perfect times and drops everything to save the day. angela and kelly are the best thing that ever happened to this little company. tracy grubbs and nick fry are the reason the TEDx stage is going to be brilliant. karin solomonson is the business coach who makes your vision your reality. ridiculously grateful and ridiculously late,
