we thought this book we are writing was about marriage.
we thought wrong.
we are writing a book about freedom.

erin helps me be free. 
she reminds me that everything is a choice...
we can meet for lunch or...
we can meet for singing and dancing a night away at a concert.
we can wait until we find the perfect painting to hang on the wall or...
we can hang the plates we already have and love all over the place.
we can stick supermarket flowers in a vase or...
we can put them in our grandmother's pretty teapots and teacups.

everything is a choice...
