our notsobig back yard is a mess. the trees are sobignow that everything under them is in full shade and suffering. we keep moving plants and buying string lights and lanterns to try to make it look better. it's not working and the place that should be our happy place has become the reason we have not invited people over in a while. we need help. so we called our brilliant friend and back yard expert, brandon morris, owner of mint landscaping, to come do the hard work needed to make our notsobig back yard our happy place all over again. hehehe... you would think we would know better. but we all do this, don't we? we move things and buy things that cost us time and money and get us no closer to our happy place. sometimes, we just need help...

how to hide tv cords... 
maybe next time, walk past the aisle of perpetual temptation at target. one more pretty lamp or vase is not going to make your home your happy place. and go get yourself a pair of cute shoes instead. cute shoes are better for your soul than cute vases. tweet that.
