we came home from vacation reminded that going away is good for your soul. we agree with seth godin... instead of wondering when your next vacation is, maybe you should set up a life that you don't need to escape from. but to set up a life that you don't need to escape from, it helps to get away from the life you are living for a while so that you can stop and see what really matters. it helps to spend a weekend here... status quo antagonists who see beauty in what they already have. and we're not just talking about the sofa... breakfast in bed... think of it as eight weeks of therapy in one weekend and oh so much more fun. think of it as a quiet weekend away on a beautiful island, breakfast in bed with mimosas, no awkward group therapy, plenty of solitude, time to reconnect with each other and do whatever you want, and the beginning of a better story for you and yours.
how do we make our homes and lives ones we love? how do we let go of the things that make us so mad and keep us from happiness? how do we live all up and in the moment? how do we find time for each other in the middle of all the work? how do we live a better story? how do we feel like lovers and not roommates? how do we love coming home? these are the things we talk about. these are the things that matter. these are the people who came away with us to kiawah...
